Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use Juba Education (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a learner, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

2. Accounts and roles

The Platform provides different capabilities depending on account role (platform administrator, school administrator, teacher, learner, gate-security staff, or parent/guardian). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Only access data belonging to your own school and your own role permissions.
• Do not attempt to circumvent gate-scan verification or falsify attendance records.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
• Do not attempt to probe, scan, or disrupt the Platform's systems.

4. School-submitted data

A school and its administrators are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit about their own staff and learners, and for having a lawful basis to provide us with that information for processing on the school's behalf.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features that depend on device sensors (such as camera-based QR scanning or location services) require your device to grant the relevant permissions.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or deactivate an account that violates these Terms, is used fraudulently, or belongs to a school whose status has been suspended. Accounts are deactivated rather than deleted so that academic and attendance records remain intact.

7. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will ask you to review and accept the updated version before you can continue using the Platform.
